Where is Your Joy?

Foundation Verse: John 15:11

When I think of joy, or pretty much anything else in life, I always look to the life of Jesus Christ for the guidance, answers, and insight. The joy of Jesus Christ was the result of the absolute self-surrender and self sacrifice of Himself to the Will of His Father. Our goal in life should not be the concerns of this world; it should be the perfect understanding of God, and the communion with Him that the Lord Jesus Christ had. The biggest hindrance to this joy is the obsession with how we feel and our current circumstances. Jesus told us that the cares of this world will choke God's word.

The bottom line is that if we are rightly related to God, we will find our joy and hear the calling HE has for our lives. So we need to stop being fearful, self-conscious, and self-righteous! Instead, let us hide ourselves in the joy and love of the Lord Jesus Christ and let HIS living water flow through us and fill us...When this happens HIS current will guide us to our divine destination that HE has prepared for us.

Stay in the Word and Meditate daily.

Welcome to my Blog

Greetings All,

Welcome to my Blog! These writings are mainly just the learning and inspiration I receive from the Lord Jesus Christ during my time alone with Him. My goal is to put up both my morning and evening devotionals as well as anything else the Lord places on my heart. I pray that you find some encouragement and that it helps you in your personal walk with the Lord!

Meditate often,

Keeping our Heads in a scary World

Foundation scripture: I John 5:4

God has not given us a spirit of fear! No matter what the circumstances we Christians must keep our heads. It is a sad thing to see the Children of God tremble in fear before the sons of the earth. We are taught that fear is a spiritual poison that leads to a life spent in constant internal turmoil and bondage.

Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ delivers us from fear by consciously interposing the Lord between us and the object that makes us afraid. The person that lives in God is surrounded by the divine Presence so that no enemy can approach us without first getting by God, which is a futile endeavour!

God Bless,
